Designed for curious and adventurous young minds, our camp offers a variety of exciting, hands-on experiences that spark creativity, build skills, and encourage exploration. With a dynamic lineup of camps, your child can step into the world of theatre, art, science, wellness, and outdoor adventure—all while making friends and creating lasting memories.

Description: Career & Workforce Exploration Camp introduces students to a different career industry each day. The goal of the camp is to spark student interest in Career & Workforce Education (CWE).
Activities Include: During the morning sessions, participants will build essential workplace skills while engaging in career assessment and exploration activities, with a focus on skilled trades and workforce pathways. In the afternoon, students will tour and participate in hands-on activities within NFC’s Career & Workforce Education labs and facilities, gaining firsthand experience in each career area

- Age Group: 6-12
Description: Dive into the world of nursing and allied health with hands-on learning experiences in medical simulations. This session will culminate with a graduation Ceremony & Certificates
Activities Include: CPR training, first aid basics, medical equipment demonstrations, and health career exploration.

Description: Step into the spotlight! Campers will explore acting, stage movement, improv, and set design. The session will culminate in a live performance.
Activities Include: Acting workshops, character development, script reading, and costume design

- Age Group: incoming 6th – 11th graders
Description: This interactive camp helps students develop powerful communication skills through fun activities, team debates, and live speaking opportunities.
Activities Include: Each day, students will strengthen their ability to think critically, speak clearly, and present ideas with confidence. From learning the basics of public speaking to participating in friendly debates and delivering their own speeches, campers will gain skills that last far beyond the classroom.

Description: Pickleball is an inclusive sport for all ages and abilities! It is an accessible sport that improves hand-eye coordination and offers a fast-paced and fun activity that keeps players engaged! Attendees will have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of pickleball and be able to join pickleball play in their communities (as beginners) by the end of the week.
Activities Include: Our camp will focus on keeping sessions short (20-45 minutes), active, and fun, utilizing drills like "dinking" (soft touch shots) and serving practice.

Description: The NFC Beginning Middle Grades Band Camp provides an opportunity for students with little or no experience on a band instrument to get a head start before joining band in the 2026-2027 school year.
Activities Include: Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students will learn:
- Instrument assembly and maintenance
- Correct posture, holding, and playing techniques
- Fundamentals of time and rhythm in music
- Basic music notation
Strategies for practicing and improving

Description: The NFC Middle Grades Band Camp (experienced students) provides an opportunity for students with at least 1 year of experience on an instrument in band or through private instruction to continue to develop as musicians during their summer break.
Activities Include: Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students will learn:
- Instrumental care and maintenance
- Correct posture, holding, and playing techniques
- Concepts of time and rhythm in music
- Music notation, expressions, and articulations
Best practices for playing in an ensemble

- Half-day 8am-12pm

- Age Group: 13-16
Description: Find your voice. Lead your path. Shape your future.
Activities Include: The camp will introduce leadership through real college experiences, student engagement, and hands-on learning.

- Half-day (camp per week): $50 for one camp
- Full day camp: $75 for one camp
- Camp shirts will be provided to campers
- Campers will have a snack break
- One snack break for half-day camps
- Two snack breaks for all day camps

- All drop-offs and pick-ups at the Student Center
- Morning camps: drop-off beginning at 7:30am, pick-up at 12:00pm
- Afternoon camps: drop-off beginning at 12pm, pick-up at 5pm
